Science journalist and project manager at DBT. Her expertise covers science communication on all platforms: Video, radio, podcasts, books, newspaper/magazine articles and websites. She is an experienced radio host at DR (The Danish Broadcasting Corporation) and has worked many years with science communication at the Danish science museum Experimentarium. She teaches science journalism and communication at the Danish School of Media and Journalism

Mette Marie Simonsen

MSc. in Sustainable design engineering. Project manager at DBT with an interdisciplinary background in the field of science and technology studies combining engineering with knowledge on sustainability, innovation processes and user-oriented design. She has experience with stakeholder and citizen involvement in research and innovation processes and is currently involved in the Horizon 2020 projects GoNano and SocKETs about enabling co-creation between citizens and stakeholders to align future technologies with societal needs and concerns.

Aske Palsberg

MSc in Socio-economics and environmental planning. Project manager and researcher at DBT. He has experience with applied and problem-oriented research and stakeholder involvement processes. He has previously worked with the systemic energy transition, circular economy in the bioeconomy as well as climate change adaptation, including methodologies such as energy system modelling, Life Cycle Approach and EROIE. He is currently involved in two Horizon 2020 projects – the Human Brain Project in which he is involved in stakeholder and citizen consultations and RECIPES on reconciling science, innovation and precaution through the engagement of stakeholders.

Mads Holmgaard Meyer

MSc in Technological and Socioeconomic Planning. Project Manager with extensive knowledge about climate change, environmental studies and the transmission into circular economy especially within the waste and energy sector. He has experience with improving the recycling and reuse of materials by combining circular economic theory and hands-on production experience. He is currently in the coordination team of the H2020 project ECO2 with the purpose of enhancing consumers consciousness about their energy usage.
