Lesgo at the Matchmaking event for FET projects

The Lesgo project was presented earlier on March, 4, at the online event “Matchmaking event for FET projects focused on ENERGY and ENVIRONMENT”.

The event, organized by the FET Briefing, was created with the aim of bringing business, stakeholders and researchers together to explore the innovation potential of their research. The Briefing project comprises various training services for researchers and to-be entrepreneurs from the FET Open projects.

Organized in two sessions, the morning session was dedicated to the projects in the energy storage and conversion field and the afternoon session was focused on solar fuel and energy harvesting projects. Dr. Alastair Cunningham, Portfolio Manager at the Knowledge Transfer and Technology Unit at ICFO presented Lesgo. Cunningham explained the main purpose of the project, and how it will seek efficient and affordable storage and transportation of electricity using hydrogen, which helps to mitigate the unpredictability of renewable electricity.

The event invited the 14 Future and Emerging Technology/EIC Pathfinder projects funded by the European Commission.
